Today sees the opening of a 3D festival being held in Belgium. The 3D Stereo Media event is being held at the Convention Center of Liège in Belgium and will run from December 1^st to 3^rd.  The event will consist of a festival of 3D films and 3D technology. The 3D technology festival will feature an exhibit which shows state of art 3D, in areas such as cinema, TV, games and phones. As well as this exhibit the festival will comprise of numerous presentations which cover all technical, scientific and artistic aspects of 3D stereo in the modern era. Globally established 3D experts will be animating the event which will host a unique TV and cinema studio that features 3D stereo systems. A variety of short 3D movies such as fictional shorts, documentaries, sports and advertisements will be shown on these screens as well as being shown at the Convention Center itself to an audience of industry professionals. The 3D festival is presided over by Ben Stassen, the author of the popular 3D movie Fly Me To The Moon and it will offer a wide variety of 3D films to the general public. `
