
AVATAR still isn’t viewable to the majority of the world and to date it has only been seen by a very select audience at last week’s London Premier. Despite this, James Cameron’s futuristic blockbuster has just landed itself multiple nominations at the upcoming Golden Globe Awards.
AVATAR has been nominated in 4 different categories at the Golden Globes. The film has been nominated for;
Best Picture, Best Original Song, Best Original Score and surprise surprise
Best Director.
Not just AVATAR (the most expensive film ever made) was nominated for the awards. Other films representing the 3D industry were nominated too, such as; Coraline 3D, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (3D) and Up (3D).
James Cameron’s Avatar will be released in over 50 countries in a variety of viewing platforms on Friday 18
th December. The blockbuster will be screened in; 2D, Digital 3D and the highly recommended IMAX 3D.
