Acer Release 3D Capable Display
Acer has revealed its latest 3D capable LCD display, the GD-235HZ. When the display which utilizes a 120Hz refresh rate and 1920 x 1080p resolution is combined with Nvidia 3D Vision active-shutter glasses technology, it offers users high quality 3D content perfect for gaming. The 23.6-inch display has a 1920 x 1080p resolution and comes with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
It also has a 1000:1 native contrast ratio, an 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a pixel pitch of 0.2715mm and a response time of 2ms.
When the Acer display is combined with Nvidia’s 3D technology the display offers users high quality 3D content. The Nvidia 3D Vision system includes active-shutter glasses, a wireless USB transmitter and software that can transform 2D gaming content into stereoscopic 3D gaming.
The Acer GD235HZ was made available on the consumer market today for $399.99.
