3D fever is spreading across the world, and whilst it continues to grow in popularity Patrick Lussier, the director of the huge 3D horror flick ‘My Bloody Valentine’ has roped in a big name for his next 3D project. Lussiers film, ‘Drive Angry’, will star actor Nicolas Cage (Con Air, Gone in 60 Seconds, Bangkok Dangerous) and it is set to take viewers on one intense ride! The story is about an enraged man who is out for revenge on the people who caused distress to his family life. The idea of a 3D Nicolas Cage in a fast paced revenge film is bound to jump out at audiences and draw them in to the three dimensional adventure. Since the success of his first 3D venture Lussier has become a spokesperson for the 3D technology and has praised it numerous times with the national press. He told the LA Times that 3D cinema is “more than a fad” and that “you could do My Dinner with Andre in 3-D and it would be incredibly compelling.” As well as Drive Angry, Lussier has another 3D project in the pipeline, another in your face 3D horror film called, Condition Dead 3D.  Both are set to be released in the latter months of 2010.
