Philips has announced its upcoming line-up of HD 3D ready TV’s, the Philips 9000 series. The Philips 9000 series utilizes a 400Hz LCD display that has a response time of 0.5ms. This and the integrated ‘Philips Pixel Perfect HD Engine’ helps the display to produce blur-free images. The 9000 series offers a full 1080p resolution to each eye and has a contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1.

The displays included in the line-up all come with built-in Wi-Fi access which allows users to stream content from the internet. As well as the 9000 HD 3D ready series being released, Philips will also be releasing the 8000 series which has 3D capabilities.
