Paramount Pictures Readying Ring 3D

Moving forward, ‘The Ring’ will surely get its 3D treatment. Paramount Pictures is preparing and had started to set things up. David Loucka (“DREAM HOUSE”) will do the script for “RING 3D” which will be more ‘teen-centric’ and will serve as more of a reboot/reinvention. Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are in negotiations to return as producers. No director is yet set. The original 2002 thriller “THE RING”, based on the popular Japanese “RINGU” horror movie franchise, was both a critical and commercial success. Would its third installment in 3D be just a gimmickry or will be an unforgettable one like Avatar?

Hitachi Reveals Glasses Free 3D LCD Display
