Clever, compact and available now!
Irish based company; Mcor Technologies just launched its latest 3D printer, the Matrix 300.
Unlike the usual high-end 3D printers the M-300 is purposely designed to be a cost efficient machine that will help smaller businesses and educational establishments produce elaborate detailed 3D models without the large expense. “This cost effective model will enable students, designers, engineers and hobbyists create 3D models at 2D prices”.

The M-300 and a sample model
The new hardware produced by Mcor uses water-based adhesives which have been shown to be a more environmentally friendly way of assembling the three dimensional models it produces.
The Machine prints extremely detailed 3D models on A4 paper for a much cheaper price than existing technologies Mcor Technologies claim. “We’re up to 50% less expensive than the competition in terms of running costs,” Mcors marketing director told the Irish press.
Mcors latest model has been designed to be much smaller than its predecessors, so much smaller that the machine can comfortably fit on a desk. Another advantage to the M-300 is its improved user interface which makes the printing function easier and it also has a faster output time than other models.
The maximum creation volume for an M-300 model is 297mm x 210mm x 150mm (height). However, to make larger models, individual parts can easily be printed and simply joined together to create an even larger model.
Mcor Technologies mainly sells its products within the United Kingdom; however the company is currently in talks with numerous major distributors to help the Irish company extend its reach within other countries in the near future.
