U2 in 3D – The first live action digital 3D movie ever made. Though some music professional said that the band’s performance wasn’t pretty good, digital audio quality was amazing. All notes was captured perfectly. A fantastic 3D concerto!
Beowulf 3D – View this one with an added dimension. Sure its 2D version was a good one, too. It is an Old English heroic epic poem, a classic tale. The swordplay at the beginning was so breath-taking. At the end, you can’t help but draw back with the rain of arrows coming right in front of you.
The Polar Express 3D – 2004 Academy Award-nominated feature film based on the children’s book of the same title by Chris Van Allsburg. The 3D effects added a marvelous magical sensation to the affair.
Pixar’s UP - “Many have called this tale of a man constructing a makeshift zeppelin of 10,000 helium balloons Pixar’s best and it tells a fantastic story regardless of the 3D effects that take it to the next level… ”, D. Sung.
Coraline – This film doesn’t use 3D effects simply as an attention-grabber. There’s not much popping moments in this fairytale but 3D was used to enhance the narration of the story. It has an eccentricity…
So get ready. Back-up your popcorn for this movie marathon experience.
